As an entrepreneur passionate about storytelling, my journey through startups and high-growth enterprises across production companies, brands, and agencies led me to establish The Story Shack in 2024.
Recognizing a gap in our shifting industry, The Story Shack exists to prioritize nimbleness, adaptability, technology and specialization with a dedicated team committed to being human. We deliver content that evokes emotion, leaving a lasting impact on audiences while translating business challenges into creative solutions to help move businesses forward. We offer a personalized and high-touch experience, seamlessly integrating into in-house teams to serve as a genuine partner so our customers have an outlet for content production from start to finish.
My career started after film school when I co-founded Creative Breed: An Empathy Agency where our focus was on telling human-centered stories. Notably, we developed and produced GENERATION STARTUP, a documentary showcasing the challenges and successes of young entrepreneurs in Detroit. The film premiered in theaters followed by a release on Netflix. This project fueled my passion for storytelling and entrepreneurship. While there, I worked with brands like PwC, UBS, Elizabeth Arden, Food & Wine, among others.
I then joined MALKA Media, a creative studio that made content at the speed of culture where I led enterprise initiatives, helping scale the team from 60 to 200 while working with clients like Amazon, AWS, IBM, Washington Post, among others.
At Zero100, a membership-based research and insights company, I joined as one of the initial 15 employees. Tasked with building an internal Studio Team, I focused on creating impactful video and podcast content for C-Level Operations & Supply Chain Officers at Zero100.
On a personal note, I've recently taken on the exciting role of Girl Dad to our daughter, Penny Rose. Together with my wife, Lily, and our dog, Mr. Cooper, we call Katonah, NY, home. When I'm not tackling DIY house projects (often finding myself in over my head), you can find us scouting out new venues for live music, finding new places to travel, or escaping to the Jersey Shore most summer weekends.
